Inspired by Marilyns 1957 White Satin Mermaid Dress worn to the Premiere of The Prince and the Showgirl, with included chiffon and faux fox fur scarf, this dress is red carpet perfection and the embodiment of Old hollywood Glamour. Made or thick Satin Spandex knit, instead of woven satin, the fabric hugs the curves with a compression stretch. With generous 1950's style bust cups with adjustable straps and a voluminous mermaid silhouette with tulle built into the bottom skirt. Want more drama? try pairing with a red Mermaid Petticoat and Red Satin Gloves. 

Fabric & Fit: Dress Stretch Satin knit (Poly Blend), Scarf made of chiffon (poly) and Faux fox fur. Natural Waist to Hem is aprox. 43-44inches, graded up with the sizes. This dress is easy to hem, but we have calculated the ideal length based on height 5'5-5'7. For additional length you can easily pair with a Red mermaid tulle petticoat. Blonde model (audrey) on pink backdrop is 5'4, Blonde model in red room (Miranda) is 5'10

 This style is true to size, and we do not recommend sizing down unless you fall between sizes; view the body chart below to best match your size. While the fabric does have 1-2 inch of stretch, we have already considered this stretch to match our body chart with hold. Talk about a dream dress.I'ma thrift kind of girl who doesn't really buy retail but this was a must have. And it feels like butter. So silky soft. Fits like a dream. Just in time for a 1940s event on the Queen Mary. This is sure to stand out. Even with all my other vintage outfits this will be my dream to wear. Ifelt like a little girl trying on her mom's wedding dress.It's gonna be hard to top this.

This is a beautifully made gown. The color is vibrant, the feel is soft and slinky with the perfect amount of stretch and structure. It somehow camoflauges your lumps and bumps which I wasnt expecting and had enough weight yet fluidity to it that gives it a very luxurious feel. It is absolutely stunning and definitely makes you feel glamorous and,sexy.
